Tips to help you during the planning process

  • avoid using just the equipment brand name and efficiency.
  • during the early planning stages of the project, address the total heating, cooling and ventilation system prior to finalizing the drawings.
  • ensure that the furnace and air conditioner is sized correctly.
  • make sure the air distribution system be properly designed so the required volume of air is delivered to the individual living spaces of your home.
(This is achieved when the the same set of drawings, HVAC calculations, suggested equipment and ventilation specifications are used by all the contractors involve on your project)
